Alison Rabe

Staff Attorney

Alison Rabe serves as a Staff Attorney at HomeBase, where she works to empower and support local governments and service providers with HUD compliance, strategic planning, and program implementation in their efforts to eradicate homelessness.

Prior to joining HomeBase, Alison worked on a diverse array of human rights issues abroad including refugee processing, land titling, and legal empowerment. In Cambodia and Sierra Leone, Alison provided legal and technical assistance to local communities and non-profits as they fought to enforce their land rights in the face of powerful actors. Alison is proud to be a part of an organization which continues to make land rights more real for vulnerable people.

Alison graduated with her B.A. from The College of Idaho before receiving her J.D. from William & Mary Law School. She is licensed to practice law in Virginia, Florida, and California. In her spare time, Alison is active in the local immigration advocacy community. You might also find her on her bicycle or exploring the Bay area's hills with her dog.
